Police were called to the clubs training ground on Thursday after a man was seen acting suspiciously outside the premises. The FA issued a statement which read: We are aware of the incident at Derby Countys training ground and we will be investigating the matter. The suspect was reportedly in possession of a pair of binoculars, pliers and a change of clothes at the time he was picked up by police. However, this is not the first time a team managed by Bielsa has faced accusations of this nature. During his time as manager of Newell’s Old Boys, the Argentine used kids to spy on opposition teams before games. The 63-year-old (known as El Loco) would hire youth footballers to climb fences and trees adjoining to the training grounds of his rivals to take detailed notes and report back on potential starting XI’s.Bielsa has since confirmed he did send a Leeds employee to the training ground and wanted to take full responsibility for the matter.
