He confirmed his intention to depart the Giallorossi earlier this month, but there are claims he could be back in a job before the start of the 2019/20 campaign,Calciomercatoweb report on interest in Ranieri, 67, from Celtic, who are on the lookout for a new permanent manager to replace interim boss Neil Lennon. Lennon returned to Celtic Park when Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester earlier this year, and he is one candidate for the full-time role having guided Hoops to their eighth successive Premiership title.However, Ranieri is now understood to be a shock contender to become Celtic chief, with the report also claiming former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is on the club’s shortlist, along with ex-PSG manager Laurent Blanc.
