Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign France starlet Jean-Clair Todibo on July 1, the LaLiga club have confirmed.Todibo, the defender, will leave Toulouse when his contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he joins Barca on a free transfer.The 19-year-old has made just 10 appearances for Toulouse’s first team, debuting in August and playing his most recent match at the beginning of November.

Having established himself in Toulouse’s starting line-up at such a young age, many clubs were reported to be keeping tabs on the teenager in the build up to the January transfer window.Toulouse’s Ligue 1 rivals Lyon were said to be keen on him, as well RB Leipzig of Germany’s Bundesliga.talkSPORT also revealed in November that Liverpool were interested in signing Todibo, but they have missed out with Barcelona securing his signature.
